Excellent Service and the coat is perfect.
I have been looking for over a year for the perfect winter coat. It looks nice, not to bulky and keeps you warm. This is it. The hood is a nice accessory. It keeps me warm and dry.
Much to love about this coat.
I love everything about this coat but one thing. If the wind flap over the zipper is not secured, the loop side of the Velcro abraids the left sleeve. The hood is ample, it's wind and waterproof, the neck and cuffs are cozy, and it very light in weight. It's hard to say whether I'm happier with the flattering fit or the warmth. I'm a commuter, so I appreciate the fact I can unzip from the top down and bottom up once I sit down on the bus.
This is the one long(er) coat you need for winter
I live in Toronto, Canada and it was nasty with the wind this winter. I tried on I don't know how many longer (to the knee) coats and this coat is the *best* I tried on. I'm 5'7" and pants size 14--I have an Italian "pear" shape and the difficulty with a coat that keeps your backside warm is that it wouldn't *fit* over said backside. This XL is the ONLY real XL I tried on--graciously skimming my hips and ending at a flattering slight "A" flare. The mock belt in the back gave me something of a figure--other longer coats either were too tight in the hips or made me look like a large black sausage. It's super light and super warm, the high collar is amazing and the hood is substantial and stands up to Toronto wind. The details are even great--there's a bit of fleece just inside the wrists to really keep out the cold, inside pockets--I can't go on enough about this coat! If you're a pear shape, are breathing and want to be warm in winter--just buy it now, the quality, looks and fit cannot be beat.
