The Merrell Air Cushion midsole cushions each stride and keeps the foot centered and balanced, and a tough injection molded nylon shank makes each step as stable as the last. Fantastic boot
These are the most comfortable hiking boot I have ever owned. I am taking them for when I climb Mount Whitney in a few weeks. They broke in very easily, and have not caused one blister!

Love these boots!
Bought these for a month of hiking in Colorado. They felt great right out of the box but also provide very good support. Excellent traction as well. By far the most comfortable hiking boot I have ever owned.
