Designed for professional guides, this large volume pack was born from a series of very specific requests a lighter, simpler freight hauler, with plenty of volume for bulky loads, zip access to the main compartment, a large outside pocket, flexible lashing options, and a suspension capable of handling 80 lb. loads in reasonable comfort. The first few were easy, the last one harder. Mountain Hardwears solution wrap our customshapeable FitLock hipbelt around a stiff framesheet to provide an excellent blend of load transfer and comfort. The guides are pleased.

  • HDPE framesheet with 7075 alloy perimeter shaping rod and center 7075 high strength alloy stay for load support
  • Compression molded backpanel balances comfort, ventilation and snow-shedding
  • Advanced FitLock hipbelt integrates solidly with framesheet to create excellent load transfer and spreads load evenly over contact area to maximize comfort
  • Hourglass lumbar pad improves hipbelt wrap for better fit
  • Extra-thick, dual density shoulder straps for comfort with heavy loads
  • Top loading design with large single compartment and long side zip access to reach packed items more conveniently
  • Fold top design allows pack to be used effectively without top lid
  • Large front depth pocket with zip access conceals versatile hide-away full-wrap compression straps
  • Deep wand pockets with adjustable webbing cinch
  • Fully reinforced three point haul system
