The dependable standard in outdoor insulation, the classic Mountain Hardwear Sub Zero Jacket for men is as essential as a reliable mountaineering rope. A four-season mountaineering shelter can save you from the elements and a -40F rated sleeping bag can provide adequate warmth, but it's your outerwear that's going to protect and insulate you all the way back to civilization, which is why this 650-fill down Sub Zero Jacket is an essential fit for extended climbs and backcountry skiing adventures. You'll find reinforcement fabric along the shoulder and arm in key abrasion areas and external fleece lined pockets to warm your digits and quickly stow some gear. This is expedition-quality protection for severe winter weather and high altitude conditions.

This jacket is excellent for Winter time!!
Great purchase
I am very pleased with this jacket as is my wife (I ordered 2). It is great for the cold mornings when you don't have time to do a lot of layering. This jacket kept me incredibly warm on a windy and snowy day and I like that it is compact and easy to carry in my backpack. I would recommend this product and will consider other products by Mountain Hardwear.
Warm, Light and Versatile
I've used this jacket everywhere from Mt Rainier to early spring overnights in the Adirondacks. It's incredibly light, immensely packable, and absolutely warm. It's the one jacket you want against extreme cold apart from your outer/softshell. Excellent as an alternative to the full parka, which is bulkier. Great around town for cold winter conditions too.
