These are my favorite shorts! I own them in three colors.
The length is perfect. I am a canoeist, a cyclist, and a scull crew member (eight boat rowing) and wear these shorts for all activities. They do stretch after a few hours, but even then fall just a bit lower than my naval. They dry quickly and are also great for working in the yard and garden. I have three pairs of them and would like to have them in chocolate brown.

Great short but weird sizing
I bought them in both a 12 and a 14. The 12 is pretty tight. The 14 is great for about an hour but then they stretch out and fall down around my hips. Because you cannot wear a belt with them there is really nothing you can do. Despite all this, they are still my favorite shorts. The length is perfect and the material is great. I wear them all the time.
