Great on first look
I swore I would not do this because I hate when people review a product without using it but...10% off was enough of a lure. So I set up the tent in my living room as soon as I got it, like a kid on Christmas morning. Like most men, I scan over the directions for 3 seconds and assume I wont need them, this is one of those rare instances when I was right. Very easy set up (a caveman could do it, sorry). I feel cooler for owning the tent - now that does not speak to its actual worthiness in the field, but it counts for something, right? The whole package was a bit bigger and heavier than I expected -but reasonable for a few days out in the woods I expect. After my "in house" set up I went outside to put on the rain fly - again, no problems. I was a bit confused as to how to securely tie down the rain fly to the stakes as I am not a "knot guru" but I will figure it out. One thing I did notice with the rain fly on was it got hot in there - I am interested to find out how the ventilation works (in the field). Overall I am impressed and cant wait to get out there and tent. Good luck with yours.
