These shoes perform beyond my exdpectations.
Long walks on smooth or rough ground are easy in these shoes. I've walked up to 5 miles in these with no discomfort at all, and with no socks. Incredible!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Look no further!
Very comfortable, drys quickly due to the unique water exhaust holes in the sides of the shoe. Water is squeezed out when pressure is put on the sole, instead of sloshing around like a wet tennis shoe. Also has good foot protection while out on the lake. Love it.
Could have been better designed.
Nice looking and comfortable. I would prefer to have seen it designed with a completely open mesh rather than a mesh with fabric backing similar to the one ECCO produced several years ago. My primary use is as an athletic shoe in hot weather. One significant design flaw is the flap at the top of the tongue, no function or purpose. It was so bad I sewed it closed. Lacing system is acceptable but could have been done better making fast entry and closer much easier. Typical of New Balance the laces are longer than needed. The shoe is definitely 1/2 size smaller that what you would normally wear.
