Great shoe
This shoe provides good stability and cushioning. I recommend wearing a pair of technical running socks with these shoes to avoid blisters. Altrec also provided great customer service and addressed all of my questions prior to my purchase.

good shoe for the money
I run 3-5 miles, 3-4 times per week. Streets. I get good protection and the shoes wear well.

too narrow
I purchased the air equalon II at a running store one year ago and it was the best running shoe I ever owned. The reviews on the air equalon III were equally impressive so I thought to order online. The size selection was limited and with only one width offered, I naturally assumed all shoes of this style by Nike were the same width. My $135 running shoe is too narrow and much less comfortable than the shoe I purchased last year in a bricks and mortar store. A disappointing $135 lesson about buying on-line.
