Good overall choice
Although I've seen them for less, Altrec's free shipping and excellent customer service outweigh minor savings elsewhere. These binoculars are a good choice for general field observation of wildlife; clear, sharp images, good light transfer, etc. I especially like the comfort of their ergonomic hand- and thumb-holds, and their light weight.
