Years ago when we first carried Oakley's Square Wire series we could compare the design with classic aviator eyewear refinements, but since then the Square Wire has evolved into its own distinct classification--without compromising the lightweight fit and exceptional optical clarity. The frame edges are squared and more pronounced than the Big Square Wire Sunglasses, but the lens coverage is marginally smaller. Like the other Wires, the Square Wire offers full UVA and UVB protection with a lightweight and durable C-% alloy frame. Great Glasses
I bought these to replace a pair of A Wires I bought several years ago. The Square Wires are much sturdier (don't bend), they have a spring hinge, and the lenses are larger. The Oakley's black iridium lenses are the best in my opinion.

Great sunglasses
A little on the heavy side compared to other Oakleys I have owned. Overall, well made and stylish. Love the spring hinge
