Well worth it
I've been backpacking for many years with an inexpensive external frame pack and have suffered snapped shoulder straps, a poorly fitting hip belt, and excess pack weight for far too long. The Osprey is so light for its capacity and is also very well laid out. The fit of the harness is phenomenal (and I haven't even gone through the thermal fitting) and the pack rides well with loads both large and small due to the excellent compression system. What more can I say? It's a great pack that's as easy on the trail as it is on the eyes. I only wish that I would have gotten one earlier. The fact that Osprey stands by their products with a no BS warranty is certainly reassuring as well.

Wow
I have been holding off from writing this review until I actually got to use this pack. I went to Rocky Mountain National Park over Spring Break to hike and camp in the backcountry. This pack was amazing! I bought a knock-off brand several years ago. It never took long for my old pack to become uncomfortable. And after any hike, I was always sore. This wasn't the case with the Osprey. The molded hip belt and the suspension system made for the most comfortable hike I have ever had. This pack is worth every penny. I loved this pack and I am an Osprey fan for life!
