The adjustable, full-coverage hood folds into the collar when it's not in use. A double-separating front zipper, with internal and external stormflaps, offers full protection when snow and rain are blowing sideways. Pit zips with water-resistant zippers allow fresh air to flow around your core on long, burning hills.

Outdoor Research: Women's Jacket
I like my jacket. I live in rainy Ketchikan, Alaska where we receive 160 inches of rain a year! A good rain jacket is a must. This one washes beautifully. I like the pomegranate color, price ($138.99), flower, fit, and the two-way main zipper.

Today was the first I've worn the jacket in the rain... EXCELLENT H2O repellant!! But I had on short sleeves and it was chilly to my arms, brrr. The description says it is loose fitting ~ either I've gotten bigger or they need to define loose. This fits just right with no room to grow!! Mighty expensive price tag, but will last for years and be worth the investment.
