Making windchill a non-factor, the updated Patagonia Retro-X Jacket for kids is designed in thick, soft 1/4" recycled fleece that layers a windproof barrier between the outer pile and moisture-wicking, brushed polyester mesh-lining. Blocking wind yet breathable, this jacket keeps essentials kid handy with a vertical zippered Supplex chest pocket, and zippered handwarmer pockets that are also lined with moisture-wicking brushed polyester mesh. Helping to keep the Retro-X found - not lost, an inside ID label reminds its owner to 'please' take me home. An Eco-friend, the fleece is recycled through the Common Threads Recycling Program making the environmental impact significantly lower than creating the same fiber from virgin materials. New polyester fiber from recycled garments results in an energy savings of 76% and a CO2 emissions [greenhouse gasses] reduction of 71%.

Great jacket
My son just loves this jacket. It is comfortable, and it blocks the wind completely, even when riding his bike. He used it in temperatures as low as 40 F, and that was fine.
