Pair these lightweight hiking socks with a stripped-down pack and some awe-inspiring terrain. They feature variable-knit construction under the mid-foot and arch to disperse heat and cushion hard knocks. A new trio of fibers improves moisture control and airflow: merino wool (100% chlorine-free) for soft comfort and life-of-the-sock cushioning, nylon for trail durability and polyester to wick away moisture. These fibers are "sandwiched" together to bolster skin comfort and durability. The seamless Lintoe construction adds nonchafing solace to trail-weary toes. Made in USA.

Very warm for very little weight
Much warmer and more comfortable than I expected for a mere 2oz pair of socks. Plus, stays relatively dry after a long hike or jog. Pleased!

Best Socks
I have owned Patagonia socks for the last 6 years, starting with the medium and heavyweight versions, and I bought these lightweight crew socks recently. These socks are like the other Patagonia socks, in that they are extremely comfortable, keep your feet dry no matter how strenous the activity, do not overheat, and last for a long time. The first pair to sprout holes did so only after 5 years. Apart from hiking, my wife and I now only wear Patagonia socks for daily use, with the lightweight crews great for spring to fall use, and when shoe fit is too tight to permit the use of medium weight versions.
