The felted footbed is chlorine-free and lasts the lifetime of the sock; it increases cushioning and durability for comfort on shifty terrain and sharp stone. Made from a fusion of ultra-versatile merino wool (also chlorine-free), soft, durable nylon and moisture-wicking polyester; together they insulate, pad the entire foot, and dry quickly. Motion-friendly details: a seamless Lintoe for a chafe-free toe, and variable-knit construction under the foot and arch for airflow, moisture control and long-term cushion. Made in USA.

Love these socks!
We love the Medium weight Hiking Quarter Socks - they're perfect for biking, hiking, or any outdoor activity. We can't get enough and keep collecting more and more pairs. You can't go wrong with these!

I love Patagonia socks...
and these are my favorites! I think Patagonia socks have the best fit, beast wear, and best overall performance - no idea why I can't find them in stores. While I usually wear the lightweight ones, I ordered these recently from Altrec and love them - new favorites! So comfortable it feels like you're practically barefoot! I brought them to the store to try on boots and forgot to take them back off - slipped into my Keen sandals and was SO comfy!

Great Socks
Very durable, and comfortable. The additional elastic in the arch hold the sock in place nicely. Heel and toe area have extra thick padding that really last. I also own a pair of Bridgedale socks. They are almost identical - wouldn't be surprised if they were manufactured by the same company.
