Made from 50% recycled (and 100% recyclable) polyester from our Common Threads Recycling Program, with a Gladiodor natural odor control finish. Imported. Common Threads Recycling ProgramResearch shows that the environmental impact of recycling worn-out Capilene base layers into new polyester fiber is significantly lower than making that same fiber from virgin materials. Taking into account that worn-out garments are diverted from trash incinerators, making new polyester fiber from recycled garments results in an energy savings of 76% and a CO2 emissions [greenhouse gasses] reduction of 71%, versus creating that fiber from new raw material. im confused about this product and performance
no one seems to write a comment in much detail about the many styles of this capilene polyester material. sure cotton is warm too so is polartec products and wool is great too,.so lets get some indepth comments on how this product is used and its durability and construction performance. I have been wearing Patagonia Capilene base midweight underwear since i first heard about it in the year 1994-95, and i tried other brands to compare products and i always go back to wearing patagonia capilene base products
