Ultralight and highly efficient, the Patagonia Down Sweater Vest for men features compressible/packable 800-fill power goose down insulation to warm the core to its zenith. Created for minimalists and climbers who look to lighten their load with the ultimate in efficient layering, the Sweater Vest is designed in superlight, windproof and highly water resistant polyester that provides premium tear-strength. For optimum function the shell is fashioned in a quilted construction to stabilizes the down and prevent cold spots. With two zippered handwarmer pockets, an interior zip pocket of mesh that sports a carabiner clip-in loop doubles as a stuff sack. Elastic binding at the armholes and a drawcord hem help to seal out drafts when hunkering down for a long night bivy.

like feathers
Best of the Best Vest! It is very light like feathers but extremely warm and comfortable. I Do like it and wear everyday.My Friends asked me 'Where did you get fabulous Vest?' Patagonia Down vest is Good Quality gear and excellent Value!

Very Warm
This is my second Patagonia down product and I love them. I get very cold easily and this does the trick. Also, Altrec's customer service is excellent.

ultra light
This product can keep your core warm yet it's weight is very little. Wear it over or under to adjust to current weather. The vest also is very water repellent and looks great over regular clothes.
