Quack-free ducks: essential wear for splitting logs, driving nails or applying a little more chewing gum to the crack in the u-joint. Our classic do-alls now come in a still-substantial but lighter and more supple 8-oz organic cotton. With style that is dictated by function, not fashion they have a flat front, slant side-entry front pockets and welted, button-through rear pockets. Garment-washed. Inseam (size 32) is 32 in. for the regular version; 30 in. for the short; 34 in. for the long.

My pants of choice
I would rather be wearing shorts but living in the Northeast means pulling on some long pants eventually. Patagonia's Duck Pants have been my favorite for years. They wear well and feel great. And seem to always look appropiate. It's no wonder they're hard to keep in stock.

Thanks for the 30 in inseam
I've been wearing the Patagonia Duck Pant for years and I've been paying a taylor to shorten the hem. It is about time Patagonia started selling the pant with a 30 in inseam. I'll keep buying them. They are comfortable and wear like iron.
