Patagonia's rock climbing customers and pro athletes alike wanted the proven performance of Patagonia's Guide line but in a lighter fabric and with a more contemporary look. The design and feel allow for aprscrag chillin' without sacrificing even a sliver of athleticism. First and foremost, these lightweight, soft, stretchwoven nylon pants serve a primary purpose climbing. Articulated knees and a gusseted crotch allow effortless highstepping and stemming, and they have a 2way zippered fly for hasslefree relief while wearing a harness. The athletic not baggy cut includes straight lower legs with a wide hem, making for easytorollup cuffs that stay in place through footworkintensive routes. The button waist has belt loops and a brushed interior for nexttoskin comfort. Pockets include two handwarmers and one gluedon right thigh.

These are a fine addition to the guide line...a refinement of the simple guides.
