Lightweight, moisturewicking Sol Patrol shorts provide builtin sun 30 UPF and insect protection, in a supple, quickdrying Supplex nylon fabric. An extrawide back loop keeps your belt from wandering. With a buttonclosure zip fly, two front slant pockets with mesh drainage strips, two rear pockets and angled side seams. Inseam size 32 is 10.

great summer shorts
super lightweight material, sturdy but o so comfortable. much lighter than my other cotton shorts. great for hot summer days and nights

nice & light
Very comfortable and lightweight shorts. Great for hot summer days. More stylish, "around town" type of shorts. I probably wouldn't expect a long lived pair of shorts if you're going to be doing anything rugged as they are very lightweight. But otherwise, they are well made, as you would expect from Patagonia.

Fantastic shorts
I would have never imagined paying $50 for a pair of shorts but after I bought one pair of these for a summer trip to Mexico, I so fell in love with the superthin material, the cut, and the fit, that I bought a second pair when I got back, which have also served well in the hot NYC summer. I love them.
