Lightweight, windproof, water-repellent insulation that's compressible, warm and earth-friendly are all found in the Patagonia Micro Puff Pants.
Predawn starts and forced bivies have a way of demonstrating why serious backcountry users love the Patagonia Micro Puff Pants. Lightweight and soft, their high-loft synthetic insulation provides exceptional warmth, comfort and stuffability. It won't wilt in the wet like other lofty insulation, so you can push through deep snow or freezing rain without hesitation. The durable shell fabric adds wind and water protection, and we now make the shell, lining and insulation more earth-friendly by using recycled polyester content. Details include: a zip fly; DWR (durable water repellent) full side-zips with snap closures at the cuffs; a partially elasticized waist with hook-and-loop adjustment tabs; articulated knees; and reinforcements at the seat and knees. Loose fit slides easily over baselayers.
- Shell: 1.3-oz, 22-denier double ripstop polyester (90% recycled). Lining: 1.2-oz 22-denier polyester (50% recycled) with a Deluge® DWR finish. Insulation: 3.0 oz Climbashield® Green continuous filament polyester (40% recycled)

Great, super lightweight super warm!!
A very high quality belay pant if you need to sit or stand for extended periods in cold weather and you want a layer that you can put on or take off quickly, even over crampons or skis this is it.

Easy on and off with full side zips. Very lightweight and warm.
