Our new R3?, made for the cold-weather all-arounder, provides superb insulation on early morning starts and high alpine pushes alike. It?s our warmest nonlaminated (thus more breathable) fleece, with a technical design that excels alone or under a shell. The dense velour face helps stop wind, while the superplush interior grid soothes and adds wicking and warmth. Offset shoulder seams allow for pack-wearing comfort. Pockets: two zippered hand and one chest. 100% recyclable through the Common Threads Recycling Program.

This jacket is very attractive, with a stylish fit at the waist.
This jacket is very attractive, with a stylish fit at the waist. It feels wonderful on, and goes smoothly over any fabric one may have underneath, such as fleece. The sleeves are too long, which means one has to turn them over, and the velvety material inside looks a little strange at the wrist.

Great Fleece!
This fleece is great! Very soft and warm. I love the color. It is slightly fitted, though I would not go up a size. I am a size 4 but I don't like things tight, so I buy mediums. The medium fit fine. I have noticed with both my Patagonia jackets, the sleeves run long. I am very satisfied and would recommend this to anyone.

I don't want to take it off!
I bought this jacket because I wanted a new all-round fleece top, and I haven't wanted to take it off since I got it. The blue harbor color is really striking and goes with everything. A really nice, cozy piece of gear that's good for everything from cross-country skiing to lounging around the house.
