Streamlined "barely there" seams cause no chafe while providing a tailored, trim fit. An angled, low-profile zippered chest pocket holds lip balm or MP3 player and can be easily accessed beneath bibs, waders or pack straps. The extra tail length keeps the heat in and the elements out. Made of 50% recycled (and 100% recyclable) polyester from our Common Threads Recycling Program, with a Gladiodor natural odor control finish. Imported. Common Threads Recycling ProgramResearch shows that the environmental impact of recycling worn-out Capilene base layers into new polyester fiber is significantly lower than making that same fiber from virgin materials. Taking into account that worn-out garments are diverted from trash incinerators, making new polyester fiber from recycled garments results in an energy savings of 76% and a CO2 emissions [greenhouse gasses] reduction of 71%, versus creating that fiber from new raw material. awesome base layer!
I love this baselayer! I have the Capilene 3 and love those as well. I wear a medium in both. The Cap4 is a little tighter but it should be since it's a cold weather base layer. Hope to get another! Fast shipping too!

It's hard to go wrong with Patagonia and the altrec.com
We purchased two items of the Patagonia Women's Capilene 4 Zip Neck, two different lively colors. Even though my wife isn't outdoor fanatic like myself, she immediately fell in love with them. Moreover, it is much easier for me to engage her now for any of my outdoor adventures due to the warm, excellent termo-regulating qualities, and the overall quality of the product. It works well along in a vineyard setting, or during 6 hours hike together. We like to order our outdoor gear from the Altrec.com - people over the phone are friendly, knowledgeble and returning process in customer friendly to boot.

Fits slightly large, but is super warm
Patagonia makes some of the best base-layer gear. The Cap 4 is their warmest. It's very nice, indeed, but my wife (5'2"; 120#) returned the small for an XS. We'll be getting a few more of these; you can never have too many base layers!
