It has a minimalist design that practically floats, and is so compact it stuffs into its own stretch-mesh internal pocket (with a carabiner clip-in loop). The innovative, superlight 100% all-recycled polyester shell (1.4-oz 22-denier) with a DWR (durable water repellent) finish provides wind and water protection as well as a high tear-strength; quilting stabilizes the down. With zippered handwarmer pockets, a drawcord hem and strategically placed quilting in the torso and neck for a feminine silhouette.

Best down vest!
Great vest, super lightweight yet warm. Love the colors that are available. Great to have for fall all the way into winter. Patagonia makes wonderful products.

Function and Style
Patagonia has a good thing going with its Down Sweater Vest. Great colors, distinctive style, flattering fit, very compressible, lightweight, and superb core warming are a few of its attributes. I am 105 and 5'6, and the XS fits me perfectly with room for a midlayer or light sweater underneath. The hem falls right at my hip level. It is a perfect length for me, as I do prefer vests longer than waist length. I have several and seem to add a new one every year. It's a bombproof buy!

The perfect accessory! Practical and good looking.
I love this vest! It is a wonderful weight for cool mornings, evenings, and those wretched air-conditioned spaces. It is wonderfully packable and always looks superb.
