Like a portable warming hut, the Patagonia Ice Field Jacket for Women provides insulation and waterproof/breathable protection for when you're heading out into the cold and wet. The H2No 100% all-recycled polyester stretch-ripstop hard shell has a Deluge DWR (durable water repellent) finish, and now encases 100-g PrimaLoft Eco insulation (50% recycled) for improved compressibility and warmth even when wet; reinforcements cover the shoulders and arms. The 2-way-adjustable hood (not helmet-compatible) has an internal stand-up collar, and all external zippers are coated and water-resistant. Other details include two handwarmers, one chest pocket and one external lower-arm pocket; one internal security pocket and one large mesh drop-in pocket; pit zips; supple, low-profile self-fabric cuff tabs; a drawcord hem.

The nice jacket is what I need
I looked for several jackets. This one is lightweight and well designed. Not only for skiing. It's also nice for traveling. Recommend.
