On a bountyless steelhead fishing trip in the Kitlope, a young designer spent most of her time practicing her spey cast in 36-degree water and 34-degree air. Inspired by the frigid conditions, the Patagonia Kitlope Jacket for Women was designed before her boots were dry. Made from a wind and water resistant 100% all-recycled polyester shell filled with high-quality 150-g Thermogreen polyester insulation, the hip-length, full-zip Kitlope has zippered handwarmer pockets and elasticized cuffs.

Great fit, stylish, love the dawn patrol blue
i love this jacket. i've read some not so flattering reviews about how it flares out and fits. it fits me perfectly, and the it only flares out slightly, just slightly, because it's supposed to be a slim-fitting lifestyle jacket. i'm 5'7'', almost 5'8'', 140-145 lbs and i love the Medium. i think the sleeves are slightly long for me, but i tried on the small in the store and it was too short and tight on my back. i also love the color and the '80s look. and i live in TX where it never gets too too cold, so it's perfect for winters here.

do not buy!
very cheaply made jacket! fit is terrible--way too short in torso with super long sleeves (Im 5'7, 135 and always a medium)--realllly tight through the shoulders. also the bottom flares out, so not only is the length not functional, but it looks ridiculous as well. and, as i mentioned, stitching and materials are very cheap. definitely not what you would expect from patagonia!
