An October run on Charlottesvilles O-Hill means blazing colors but also chilly temperatures. Stay dry and warm in a pair of lightweight Traverse Pants. These highly breathable, wind-resistant soft-shell pants are made from a fast-drying, recycled polyester and spandex fabric with 4-way mechanical stretch for unrestricted movement. A Deluge DWR (durable water repellent) finish keeps wet weather out. The Traverse Pants pack easily so they are perfect companions for long backcountry excursions. Details: a double-stitched drawcord waistband with a brushed-elastic interior; two zippered handwarmer pockets; 4-panel construction; gusseted crotch for freedom of movement; straight legs that work with Nordic boots or running shoes. Reflective logo on the back right hip. Recyclable through the Common Threads Recycling Program.

great and lightweight.
It's hard to find a pant to fit my petit 5' frame. The pants give you room to move, but doesn't swallow me either. great pant

Perfect for their purpose
These are very high quality as one expects from Patagonia. The fit is perfect and the comfort level is exceptional.

Just what I was looking for
I'm always looking for that perfect pair backpacking pants and, in the Patagonia Traverse, I think I've found it. The flat locked seams make these pants great for wearing under a pack and the fabric feels like it will wear like steel. If these pants live up to the same standard as the rest of Patagonia's technical clothes, they're cheap at full price and a steal on sale.
