Pretty Dang Durable
I'm in the military, and got to test this carabiner out for the past month. This piece got dragged in sand and rock, clipped to a Humvee, and used to hold my weapon in place. The finish was intact, and the lock piece suffered no ill effects. An added bonus is the unique color and shape of this piece. No one else had one, so if someone would have decided to liberate the carabiner from my possession, I would have easily identified it. Got tons of queries as to where I purchased it. Would definitely purchase a few more before I deploy. If they can hold up to the rigors of military use, I'm sure they can work great in other applications.

Good belay biner
I like this as a belay biner. It's light and it does not have the tendency to turn like the BD mini pear.
