You'll be hard-pressed to find a better-designed kid's jacket on the market, which makes sense when you consider that this Nuptse is a scaled-down version of one of the most successful adult jackets in the outdoor industry. The Nuptse is Zip-in compatible, which means that you can zip it into other shell garments made by The North Face. This Zip-in feature isn't mandatory in foul weather because the shell is made with waterproof and breathable two-ply HyVent Palisade 4.1 fabric, but you might want to augment the two-ply protection with something a little heavier for snowboarding and icy sliding. The 600+ down fill is high-quality, lightweight insulation designed to keep kids comfortable through a range of temperatures, making the Nuptse ideal for extended ski and snowboard school programs.
