It's insulated with high quality 500-fill insulation and cut with a slightly overlapping design that keeps cold spots from forming and ruining her fun outdoors. Faux fur along the hood adds a hint of distinction but you can remove it depending on her tastes and style. Unlike the vertical handwarmer pockets found on other jackets like The North Face Nuptse, the Gotham Jacket features slanted pocket openings that help keep contents in place even when someone forgets to zip everything back up.

Very happy
I bought this jacket for my 8 years old daughter for next winter. She loved it! The look is really cool, but it is still long and warm enough that this sensible mother approves. As my daughter is very active, the fact that it wasn't at all stiff or bulky, as many warm jackets are, was especially appreciated. She also loved the soft feel of the fabric.
