When asked to describe The North Face Kilo 30 Degree Sleeping Bag, one of our customers commented, It rocks my world, I wouldn't be without it here in the UK. Nice one North Face! For temperate conditions in the backcountry, the Kilo Bag is the ideal lightweight option for mildweather adventures. Insulated with 600+ Eastern European good down, this 30 degree bag is very compressible and weighs in at just over 2 pounds. Incorporating features such as Climashield Prism anticompression pads and trapezoidal baffle construction, insulation is evenly distributed to prevent cold spots and keep you warm.
Great bag
This bag has been perfect for summer backpacking in the Rockies at 10,000+. Packs down to a small football and is lightweight.
Super Light, warm, long
The Kilo Bag is longer than my previous Bass Pro sleeping bag, so I am not cramped in there. I am about 6' tall and the long version is good for. I also noticed it is super light compared to my other sleeping bags. The material and all feels like it will keep me warm and snug during my trips in the woods. With luck, it should last me many years.
Amazing little bag for the British climes...
I'm a trekker... And have been out in this bag for two springs, summers and autumns in a row now... And it's really amazing how light it is and just how warm it keeps me at night. Gone all the way up to Scotland with it last summer, and while it provides me with a comfortable sleep, when the temperature gets down to 4 degree Centigrade (39.3 F) it does mean I need to wear my trousers and a jumper to keep me warm. Also... If space and weight are crucial to your journey, then this is definitely a good choice of bag. With a compression bag, this sleeping bag gets as small as 20cm in length and a diameter of 16cm. I can't rate this baggie enough... It rocks my world and I wouldn't be without it here in the UK. Nice one North Face! :)
