waterproof?? haha
This boot is nice looking, lightweight, comfortable, and the sole is great for all terrain, but with all that it is no good if your feet are cold and damp. I received this boot and two days later went hunting in Colorado trekking through 6-8 inches of snow and my feet were cold and wet, and that is tough when I was hiking 10-12 miles a day. The TNF built there name and stopped making quality gear, buy gore-tex and not TNF knockoff hydro-seal, I am a huge mountain hardwear fan I was wearing all there gear during the hunt and it held up great and kept me warm and dry to bad they don't make boots. I will never never never again buy THE NORTH FACE products. The name is all hype and has been for a long time now they do know how to market there products, I just can't believe how many people buy there junk. If you are looking for a great tent go with mountain hardwear trango 3.1 tent it is an excellent 4 season tent, much better than the TNF VE-25.
