That's why the lightweight Venture Pant from The North Face is so ideal for hiking, backpacking and all forms of adventure travel--it's waterproof and breathable but it's also so lightweight and packable that you can stow it in a side pocket without any hassles or packing compromises. Unlike earlier incarnations of the Venture Pant by The North Face, this version uses a lighter variation of waterproof HyVent fabric, shaving a little over an ounce off the weight without cutting out the extra comfort and convenience of features like roomy zippered hand pockets and an elasticized drawcord waist. When the weather clears simply stuff the entire Venture Pant inside the zippered left pocket and you'll be ready for the next surprise squall.

All Season
Excellent pants. Breathable, light, and weatherproof. Comfortable in hot temps and cold. Suitable for snow, ice, etc. Overall, very well put together. I have two pairs.

You can't any better than this!
Great fit and excellent construction all around. Folds up into a tiny package just as advertised, all in all a good deal. The North Face comes across again with a fine product and Altrec has it at a great price.

So far, so good. I'm 6'0, 150, and the mediums fit very well. The fit on the Venture pants is slightly bigger than the Marmot Precip pants, which I also tried. I bought these primarily for golf, for use on rainy days. I have played a number of times with these already, and, even with some very heavy and prolonged rains, these pants have kept me completely dry. They are lightweight, windproof, and are working just as advertised. I'm very pleased with my purchase!
