Product Description: K2 Apache Outlaw Flat Skis by K2 Refined with a larger waist and longer radius, the K2 Apache Outlaw has an innovative progressive sidecut design that optimizes release through broken crud and well-loved groomed runs. Traditional backcountry/all mountain skis use a wood core construction reinforced with metal, but K2 added a Titan metal construction that incorporates a perforated titanium sheet over a light and lively aspen and fir core. This makes the Apache Outlaw nimble and stable without making you feel like you're mired on the flat, heavy planks associated with some other powder ski manufacturers. If you sleep in on weekends and miss out on the miles of untouched powder, the Apache Outlaw is also ideal for ripping broken new snow and the chunks of soft crud left by the early birds and powder pigs. When mixing first tracks with established inbound runs, K2's Mod Technology dampens vibration and minimizes ski chatter at speed.
