Evolving to a new design level, the Women's La Sportiva Nepal Evo Mountaineering Boot's improved upper adds a Gore-Tex Duratherm lining to make the boot completely waterproof and warmer at high altitude. A new breathable tongue and a patented 3-D Flex ankle hinge system with intergrated anatomical elastic snow gaiter provides enhanced moisture management. The sole has a new tapered HP3 midsole with shock absorbing polyurethane ('PU') inserts under the heel and the ball of the foot. A new IBS (Impact Brake System™), designed exclusively with Vibram, softens impact on hard ground and improves traction by 20%.
