Product Description: Nixon Channel T Watch by Nixon
Watches are not just for telling time anymore. We've can say we've seen a new evolution with the advancement in the wrist watch when it can now tell you what the moon and the tides are doing. It's almost downright creepy.Reading the Tide Height: The tide is graphically represented with the crescent shape that is thicker at the 12 o'clock position and thinner and the 6 o'clock position. High tide can be recognized when the tide hand is at the 12 o'clock position. Low tide can be recognized when the tide hand is at the 6 o'clock position. As the tide moves from 12 to 6 the tide will be falling. As the tide hand moves from 6 to 12 the tide will be rising. Reading the Moon Phase: When the moon hand is either the Full Moon (12 o'clock) or New Moon (6 o'clock) position the high tides will be higher and low tide will be lower. When the moon hand is in either the first quarter (3 o'clock) or the last quarter (9 o'clock) the difference between the high and low tides will be less drastic.
