Endorsed by legendary mountaineer Ed Viesturs, the Outdoor Research Alti Mitts use lightweight, waterproof and breathable ripstop nylon Ventia fabric backed with Moonlite Pile fleece insulation along the palms and 5-oz. PrimaLoft insulation along the back of the hands and thumbs. All this insulation doesn't include the separate liners, which feature additional Moonlite Pile fleece along the palms and 10-oz. PrimaLoft along the back of the hands. Special AlpenGrip LT friction tabs and strong Velcro anchor points along the top and bottom of the wrist keep the liner from bunching or slipping inside the shell.
