The highly portable and lightweight Tactikka XP shines through the glaring problems of one-light-for-all-applications with a series of attachable colored wide angle lenses. Go blue for low illumination reading while others sleep, or opt for red when you're tying on flies that appeal to those big nocturnal bass. The colored lenses fit over the wide angle lens and make it easy to diffuse the lighting or use it for proximity applications (we like the red lamp because it helps preserve night vision). The Tactikka XP offers the same features found in the Tikka XP headlamp, but it comes with extras like an ADAPT universal connection that attaches to climbing helmets. There's also a clip so you can attach the Tactikka XP to your belt, pack or harness. The powerful LED lamp has a long life and can be set at three different levels to preserve battery power or illumination range.
