The waterproof nubuck leather upper strikes a smart balance between heavy enough for wear without tear and light enough for a trail running shoe-like feel. And underneath the leather and airmesh a fully seam taped lining of waterproof and breathable Gore-Tex keeps surface moisture at a safe distance from your foot.
