Lithia Springs Recreation Area is located northeast of the city of Shelbyville on the east side of the lake. Lithia Springs has 113 electric sites with a total of 67 reservable sites. Lithia Springs has flush toilets, showers, a playground, a beach, a trailer dump station, and a boat ramp. Lithia Springs marina is located adjacent to the recreation area. At normal summer pool level, the banks are steep and it is diffucult to get to the waters edge in many locations.
