Willard Bay Group Areas Campground

Description: Willard Bay rests atop the Great Salt Lake flood plain in northern Utah. Its 9,900 acres of fresh water provide boating, waterskiing and year-round fishing for crappie, walleye, wiper and catfish. Two state-owned facilities at the North and South marinas are available to recreationists. The North Marina is 15 miles north of Ogden, just off Interstate 15. The newly renovated facility offers campsites, modern restrooms, hot showers, sewage disposal station, seasonal/ transient boat slip rentals and sandy beaches. The South Marina is eight miles north of Ogden. It is open April through October and provides boat launching, seasonal boat slip rentals, and modern restrooms.

Box Elder Campground

Description: Located approximately five miles east of Brigham City, Utah. Campground is located in a rustic setting with bottomland hardwoods and a small creek (Box Elder Creek). Site is directly adjacent to the town of Mantua, where there is a small convenience store. Restrooms and drinking water are provided. Water sports are available at Mantua Reservoir, one mile away. Horseback riding on local dirt roads is a popular activity. Firewood is available for sale at the campground. There is a day-use picnic area located at this site. Picnic sites are on a first come, first serve (no reservation) basis, there are seven sites and no charge.

Curlew Campground

Description: Curlew Campground is located just 7 miles north of Snowville, Utah (I-84) or 9.4 miles south of Holbrook, Idaho. It is sometimes called Stone Reservoir. The local District Office telephone number is (208)236-7500. Security is provided by hosts and periodic patrols by county sheriff. This is a desert/sagebrush ecosystem so the only shade is the picnic covers or the ones you bring with you. The road within the campground is paved. There is one ADA accessible campsite with concrete and asphalt surfacing and an accessible toilet in the campground.

Description: Located approximately four miles east of Logan, Utah, adjacent to the Logan River. Campground is situated in a picturesque, hardwood river bottom. Restrooms are provided. Firewood is available for sale from the campground host. There are outstanding day hiking opportunities. Eight people to a site. Maximum of two vehicles per site, there is a second vehicle fee collected at the campground. No amplified music allowed.

Antelope Island State Park Campground

Description: The largest island in the Great Salt Lake is reached via a narrow road spanning seven miles from mainland to island. A visitor center orients guests with the biology, geology, history, and backcountry trail system. The Historic Fielding Garr Ranch, located at the southeast end of the island is open year-round. Antelope Island is home to a herd of 600 American bison. Island rangelands and shorelines are also home to antelope, deer, coyotes, bighorn sheep, shorebirds, and waterfowl. Visitors may enjoy saltwater bathing, bird watching, camping, hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, visiting historical sites, and photography. This year-round campground is located on the northwest shore of Antelope Island - an ideal spot for viewing sunsets over the Great Salt Lake. The campground is a primitive area with pit toilets and no shower facilities. Modern facilities, including hot showers and drinking water are located at the day-use area, approximately one-half mile away. For large groups: Group reservations for White Rock Bay Group-Use Campground are made directly through the park at (801) 773-2941.
