Hawaii Volcanoes National Park Fees

The National Park Service has designated the following fee free days for 2010:

April 17-25, 2010 (National Park Week) - June 5-6, 2010 (National Trails Day) - August 14-15, 2010 - September 25, 2010 (National Public Lands Day) - November 11, 2010 (Veterans Day)

Park entrance fees, commercial tour fees, and transportation entrance fees will be waived on these days.


$10.00 per vehicle - 7 days

$5.00 per individual - 7 days

$25.00 Hawai'i Tri-park Annual Pass


An annual tri-park pass allows access for 1 full year from date of first use at Hawai'i Volcanoes National Park, Haleakala National Park, and Pu'uhonua and Honaunau National Historical Park.

Arches National Park is known for its' remarkable natural red sandstone arches. With over 2,000 catalogued arches that range in size from a three-foot opening, to Landscape Arch which measures 306 feet from base to base, the park offers the largest concentration of natural arches in the world.
October's Animal
Most commonly found in the tundra of Rocky Mountain National Park, the pika is a close relative of the rabbits and hares, with two upper incisors on each side of the jaw, one behind the other. Being rock-gray in color, pikas are seldom seen until their shrill, metallic call reveals their presence.
