Stockdale (tuttle Creek Lake) Campground

Description: Tuttle Creek Lake is a 12,500 acre reservoir located in the northern Flint Hills of Kansas, in the heart of the tallgrass prairie. Stockdale Park is located on Mill Cove on the west side of the lake, 5 river miles above Tuttle Creek Dam. It features a small developed campground, a random camping area with a small shelter, and two boat ramps, a shower building and a dump station. The Country Stampede occurs in nearby River Pond State Park the third week of June.

Description: Longview Park has great appeal to those who enjoy a quiet, family oriented recreation area. Non-electric campsites are located right along the shoreline, which offer a great view of the lake along with wonderful sunsets. Electric sites are located in a heavily wooded area on the top of a bluff, which overlooks the lake. The Perry Hiking Trail also transects this park, making the Longview Group Camp site a perfect stop for hikers and backpackers.

Slough Creek Campground

Description: This area is the most popular of all recreation areas at Perry Lake. There are 273 campsites ranging from primitive walk-in tent sites, to full electric and water hook-up sites. Slough Creek has well-maintained campsites, newer shower facilities, a dump station, handicap accessible campsites, a boat ramp, playground equipment, and a 2 mile interpretive hiking trail. Two group campsites are available, located adjacent to the 30-mile Perry Hiking Trail. No dogs are allowed in the Locust Loop.

Description: Perry Park is a scenic day use area located adjacent to a marina, a restaurant, and the Corps of Engineers Information Center. The swimming beach is located in this area along with a group picnic shelter at the beach and a group picnic shelter at the East End of the dam. Both shelters are popular with picnickers. Perry Park boasts of beautiful wooded, rolling hills, which sports some good fishing.

Bloomington West Campground

Description: Located on the west side of beautiful Clinton Lake. Bloomington West Group Campground offers a large area with 25 campsites (no hookups). The area also provides a large shower building, group picnic shelter, horseshoe pit, sand volleyball court, playground, and softball field. A boat ramp is located within 1/4 mile of the campground to launch vessels. Each of the 25 campsites are approximately 60 feet in length.
