Between Memorial Day to Labor Day the Visitor Center is open 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Location
The Mound City Group unit of Hopewell Culture is located 3 miles north of Chillicothe, Ohio on State Route 104. The park is also easily accessible from U.S. Route 23, 35, and 50.

Special Programs
Mound tours available upon request.

Exhibits
Exhibits within the Hopewell Culture NHP Visitor Center display various artifacts recovered from the Mound City Group during previous excavations. Pottery, copper artifacts, and effigy pipes are just a few of the artifacts currently on display.

Available Facilities
The Visitor Center contains an information desk from which one can obtain a map/guide of the park, restrooms, a museum, an auditorium featuring the park"s 17-minute video "Legacy of the Moundbuilders", and a educational bookstore maintained by Eastern National Monument and Parks Association.
