Independence National Historical Park - For Kids

There are a variety of of hands-on-history activities available for kids. Become an anthropologist digging for artifacts, construct your own 18th century journal, or learn how much fun it is to play a musical instrument called the glass armonica that was invented by Benjamin Franklin! Check at the Independence Visitor Center to learn when and where programs are offered.

Junior Ranger Program

Pick up our Revolutionary Ranger Activities Book at the Independence Visitor Center and search for the stamps found at park sites. You will learn the story of the American Revolution while exploring the park. Collect four of six stamps and complete at least three activities and earn an official Junior Ranger Badge!
