Exit Glacier has a 12-site walk in tent-campground. Sites are available on a first-come first-served basis. There are no reservations or camping fees. There is a fourteen day stay limit. The campground frequently fills by early evening in July and August.

Camping is also available in Chugach National Forest, through the City of Seward Parks and Recreation Department and at several area private campgrounds.

Public Use Cabins

Details

Three rustic public use cabins, Aialik, Holgate, and North Arm, are available on the Kenai Fjords Coast during the summer months (from late May through mid-September).

Willow cabin at Exit Glacier, is available once Exit Glacier road is snow covered in late fall through approximately early April.

Dale Clemens Cabin Campground

Cabin is equipped with wooden bunks (4 single bunks in the loft have pads), table, benches, a propane heater, a propane light, and an outhouse. It sleeps 4 comfortably. It has no mattresses or cooking utensils. Cabin users should bring sleeping bags & pads, cookstove, cooking gear, and food. Propane may not be available. Bicycle and horse use is not recommended due to numerous rock steps, cross overs and water bars, narrow boardwalks (12") and fragile alpine vegetation. Upper Russian Lake Cabin Campground

Crescent Saddle Cabin Campground

This is the Crescent Saddle Cabin located on the south central shore of Crescent Lake, NOT the Crescent Lake Cabin on the west side of the lake. Summer access may be difficult from the west end. The creek crossing on the north end of Crescent Lake is not bridged and may be difficult to cross during high water. The entire primitive trail is not recommended for small children.
