Keweenaw National Historical Park - For Kids


The park will be offering ranger-guided programs for kids beginning June 24, 2006.

Calumet Children’s Program - Fridays at 10:00 a.m. Learning about history can be fun! Children ages 8-12 can join a ranger for a program filled with engaging activities. All children should wear sturdy shoes and bring water to drink. One hour and .5 miles. Meet in front of Park Headquarters on Red Jacket Road in Calumet, Michigan.

Some of the Keweenaw Heritage Sites may also offer attractions and activities for kids during the summer. Check with the park for further details.

Junior Ranger Program

Keweenaw National Historical park does not have a junior ranger program at this time.
