There are approximately 29 "first-come/ first-served" sites designated in this campground. St. Paul's Mission is located about 2 miles from campground. Also in the area are Fort Colville the Hudson Bay Company Post on the Upper Columbia. Extensive Native American history dating back 9,000 years in area.
