Operating Hours Seasons

Most facilities are open year-round. The recreation season is May through October. The Visitor Center and Museum at Fort Spokane are open 10:00 a.m.- 5:30 p.m. 7 days a week Mid-June to Labor Day

Getting There

Plane

Spokane is the nearest city with a commercial airport.

Car

From Spokane you can get to the northern district of the park by taking Hwy. 395 north 90 miles to Kettle Falls.

State Road 25 follows along the lakeshore from the northern most boundary to Fort Spokane and Porcupine Bay. Hwy 2 can be used to get to the southern district of the park.

Getting Around

Many visitors bring their own boat. You can rent boats and houseboats from two different concession operations in the park.
