Mushrooms such as the Firm Russula (Russula compacta) and White Fiber Head (Inocybe geophylla) are two examples of mushrooms found at Lincoln Home National Historic Site. Constant foot traffic and maintenance activities on the site often disturb the life cycle of these and other species in the park.
